From a Modest Weekend Gathering to a Lifeline for Thousands
In 2018, a small group of educators, community workers, and healthcare professionals in Faridabad came together with a humble purpose: to ensure that no child in neighboring rural settlements was deprived of basic literacy, and no ailing elder went without life-saving medicines due to lack of money.
What started as weekly remedial tutoring sessions under village banyan trees and emergency food distribution drives quickly grew into a collective movement. Local residents, retired teachers, and young professionals joined hands to address the underlying challenges of poverty, illiteracy, and healthcare neglect.
Formally registered as Jeevan Unnati Sewa Mission Trust, our organization has remained unwavering in its founding pledge: 100% of public donations go directly into grassroots community impact, backed by audited transparency, community ownership, and measurable progress.
